Synopsis

Sprinkled through the enchanting story are fascinating facts about geography, Latin, classical literary works, science, and art. Her use of language is exceptional –similes, parables, and homonyms combine to bring the story to life. While the audio version is captivating, Mindful Muslim Reader recommends reading the book as the best way to appreciate the humor and the brilliant use of language.

A character in this book disguises himself as a person of the opposite gender. He does so for heroic reasons and displays courage and patience while trying to rescue some children. We have many stories in history of heroes who acted in a similar manner. However, parents should be aware that this content may be taken out of context by a child, especially one who is exposed to the forceful promotion of the non-binary view of gender in modern Western societies.
